So I had this really cool start to an ACEO. It was so beautiful. I thought I’d turn it into a space landscape.

Well, the landscape didn’t go so well. In fact, the more I tried to get it to work (a.k.a. forcing the process) the worse it got.

I finally ditched the colorful clouds I had here and started over, sort of. I worked part of the new wet paint over the dry paint and started pulling out this nebula from beneath.

It now looks like a dragon spitting a fireball, but I think it’s a pretty neat nebula. Don’t you?

I still have some work to do on it, but it’ll come. In the meanwhile, I’m having fun painting space.
