This is an 8″x10″ wood panel. I knew I wanted to do a space painting. Here’s the start:

Wow. Space.

Yep, that’s the easy part.

I wasn’t really sure how this was going to work out when I started the piece. I don’t often paint on wood panel (it’s been a really, really long time – like since I was airbrushing a lot, so years!). I wasn’t really sure how or if it was going to turn out. So, I don’t have any paintings of in-between. I wish I did, partially for my own reference of building up all the layers. Anyway, here is the next one I do have. The painting is nearly complete here. Still some work to be done, but it’s very close.
