When I said that I felt like Frankenstein putting together a monster in my progress blog last week, I had just finished cutting, pasting, and mending so many sections of the book that I really did feel like I was operating.
My friends tease me that I need to have a setup like Tony Stark so I can rearrange pieces on virtual monitors hanging in the air. Are we there yet? I really do need them. Please give me those in my lifetime, and the sooner the better. (grin)
Now that I’m at a point of thinking about splitting this book up and trying to uncover logical positions for that, I also have to wonder how far I want to go with the story. Do I quit at the fall of Gohaldinest like I had planned? Do I continue on until Rivic settles in what will become Lilinar? I can’t say that I’ve ever felt there was much conflict in that part of his life, certainly not enough to hold a story, but could I be wrong? He is still a novihomidrak after all — certainly there’s some conflict there. In the end, I’m toying with ideas and wondering how I can make my monster the best that he can be.
It’s pretty scary and exciting when thinking that I might have three books on my hands.
I know you have had to wait for this chapter for an extra week so I won’t hold out on you any longer. Let’s get to it.

The prophecy has been fulfilled: Steigan has returned.
Now his enemies try to take down the gates of Lilinar to capture him. There will be no escape for him this time and no saving his friends. He has nothing but the ruins around him.
And the advantage of a lifetime to plan.
Will it be enough to stop the threats retaking the land?
The fourth story in the legend of Dominus Steigan continues in this epic fantasy adventure in Prince of the Ruined Land.
