Party time

My finger continues to heal. I went out to shop for a few things I missed or didn’t get to the other day and I left the finger unbandaged. Well, of course, I then hit it on everything I possibly could. At least I didn’t break it open again. It’s back to being bandaged and protected, but at least I am getting back to being able to do things.

There’s a party going on next door tonight. They have a bounce house. I suspect it’s going to be a long night, but at least its not too loud; just the sounds of people having fun. I’d rather have that then the crazy lady walking up and down the street any day.

And I’ve spent a majority of the day working on my new store as well as my Etsy shop. I just can’t quite get to where I want to be. Not quite. I feel like I’m so close. Which has gotten me back to exploring options. I dislike having to rebuild my website every three years or so. I realize technology changes, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. I want something that’s easy, fits my needs, and allows me to have a certain amount of automation so I don’t have to babysit the whole thing. Yep, I want the impossible. I’ve long wanted the impossible. Nothing new there.

Well, it sounds like a massive game of hide-and-seek has started up and people are squealing everywhere. I think I’ll go see if I can’t find a nice quiet spot and either read for a bit or get some sleep. Pre-children, I used to live about a saw sharpening shop and I worked nights — yeah, I can sleep through noise if I really want to block it out (grin).

Cheers!
