Well, today has been a grand and glorious adventure.

I had just gotten out of bed this morning (after going to sleep late — hey, I was writing, so no judging! — and being awaken in the early morning by my old dog and not being able to go back to sleep after that for a couple hours), I got a call from the lady I’m helping with her website. She wanted to meet with me again and was on her way. Okay, well, I got moving.

Then I got home, had lunch with my son, and I had lost so much of the day. So I decided to list a few items on my website. I had just settled in for that when a knock came to the door. The fire department was going door to door looking for a missing child. I’ve never actually had that happen, so it was a little unnerving. I received the AMBER alert later, which has now been cancelled because the boy was found safely.

Then my brother called and we talked for a while.

I finally got back to work on my website. Plus, I had to get another assignment off for a class. Still haven’t gotten a word of fiction written today. I’ll get there.

One of the items I got listed in my store today is the painting that you saw at the top of this blog. I also got a couple of my abstract paintings up. Well, I’m off now to get a few things done before I go write for the evening. Hope to not stay up as late as I did last night. I think I need to get back on my regular schedule, I suppose.
