In all things

I’m writing this the day before Thanksgiving, but since I won’t put out my next post until late tomorrow night, I wanted to wish all my U.S. readers a Happy Thanksgiving now.

May you have a good day full of cheer.

Okay, I wish that for everyone, whether you are in the U.S. or not. We all need more happiness and cheer.

I’ve spent most of the day in the negative. Not negative emotions, but negative words. I have been taking out more words from the second book than I have been putting in. I’m at the point where the second book ground to a halt the first time and I’m trying to redraft. But there’s still something wrong and I keep getting distracted by other things, which means my creative voice has project block. I might have to work on something else for a couple of days. We’ll see. Maybe I’ll wake up in the morning knowing exactly what I need to do.

Finally, I gave up trying to solve the problem and walked away. I went to work on 1-800-Lok8 and finished up with my first reader’s comments there. That means I’m nearly ready to put it out.

Well, I’m off now to get some sleep. I’m sure my kids will want to play games tomorrow, so I want to get my creative day in and done before then so I can just focus on spending time with them.

May you have a good day full of cheer!
