My son and I went for a bike ride this morning before it got hot. Here we are together.

We rode down to the Albertson park. I took pictures of several cool trees while we were there, trees that needed my attention. I also discovered they have lotuses there. I saw some when I went to Los Angeles several years ago, but I would never have guessed that they could grow in Idaho too. The picture at the top of the post is one of those lotuses.

After we got back, we ran out and did some shopping. After that, we both napped. Once I woke up, I did some writing. I thought about painting more, but it’s so hard when my stuff just isn’t ready to go.

Tomorrow I head home. I’m excited to see my pets and my garden. My other son tells me that all has been well, but I’m ready to see it for myself. And this time I hope I don’t have to travel again for a while.
