While out at the show today, a couple suggested that I watch The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society because movie was about a writer. Netflix claimed that it had a 55% chance that I’d like it.
This is what happens when your children have ruled your queue for years.
I did like the movie. Maybe not enough to watch it again unless I was going to study the characters or the relationship build. But, I did give it a thumbs up, and laughed while Netflix’s algorithm exploded.
When I had a slow moment during the show, I got to start something I’ve been thinking about for a while. Several years ago, I practiced drawing a whole bunch of trees on paper in charcoal. It was great fun and I even sold a few. But I always wanted to try this on Bristol, but just never took the time. Today as I was leaving the house, I grabbed a couple frames I had on hand and took them with me. This allowed me to measure out the size I needed.
Here are 3 of 5 pieces I finished today:
Maybe tomorrow will see more of these getting done.
Cheers.
