Let’s just say that it’s been a hard night and it has to do with bicycle mechanics.
I was going to go paint but my bike was by my easel and needed to be moved. It’s been there because I needed to follow 4 steps on a website to fix an issue my son has while putting on fenders for me. He said he just didn’t have the capability to do it at the moment. Since he goes to work at 4 a.m. and this was at 7 p.m. that he told me this, yeah I could understand.
So, since I had the light available and I was feeling pretty good (or maybe just wanting a distraction from going to paint, hmmm?), I thought I’d take care of the bike real quick.
I should have stopped when I started cussing. My son couldn’t get it back together because he’d been trying to do it upside down. I figured that out quickly. It all went downhill after that.
But slowly, I started to get it all figured out. 4 steps took me 2 hours. I think my son owes me a chiropractor visit now. (Grin)
Well, maybe the next time my brain tries to distract me from getting to my creativity, my body will remember the pain and shut the brain up. we can always hope, right?
Oh, and the repair still needs tweaking because it’s not quite right, so the bike still isn’t rideable yet. Sigh.
