The picture above is one that I took. On my way into work this morning. While I do lovesunrises in the morning on a cool day, I am glad that January is almost done.

January is not my favorite month. December is my second least favorite month. And for more reasons than just because they’re cold.

But enough about that. I’m looking forward to getting into February and getting to reset. I had a feeling that January this year would be bumpy so I’m really looking forward to being able to look at those goals that I sent in December and get restarted on them.

And even though I didn’t get as much done as I would’ve hoped to, I still got in about 19,000 words this month. I think that’s pretty good. Granted, most of it was blog. However, I did get fiction written every day, except for today. It’s just too late now for me to get any fiction written and I need to get some sleep before the last big day in January. I do hope I get some fiction in tomorrow. We’ll have to see how the day turns out. Honestly, I’m not expecting the best, but I hope to be pleasantly surprised. I will hold out for the best.
