I’m now into the last chapter of my drummer book.

The last few nights have been 400 words at a time, but I’m almost there. It just proves that repeated baby steps can really move one along. It’s not fast, but it’s getting down the road.

Strangely enough, my character is currently on the road. It’s a homecoming and kind of fun. I still can’t wait until I’m done. I’m so ready to move onto the next story. Maybe I’m saying that because I don’t know how exactly this is going to end and I feel like I’m lingering right now. But, I really need this ending to round the story out.

So onward I march.
