I’ve been focusing on words today.
I’ve been half wondering if that is fear of stepping up to the easel. I’m going to write a quick blog, then I’m going to go prove myself wrong, even if I only get a little bit of painting done today. I will get to the easel.
Last night, I also went in search of a tool to help aid me on creating my next children’s book. I really need to get to drawing more in general and found a couple templates that will help me with tumbling out the story. I’m not sure which story I will draw next. I have a couple in mind, but I’ve got to go looking for them and see which one pops up first.
One of the templates I found last night was one that could also be used to try out several painting ideas at once. I thought that was cool, but I couldn’t figure out how to make it work. I spent enough time looking, downloading, and trying to figure out how to access them that I didn’t have much time to play with them. Probably won’t until tomorrow or this weekend either. But, with luck, by the end of the weekend I’ll have the next kids’ book planned out. I’m only planning it out because I’ve got to have pictures and words working together and a certain minimum number of pages to publish well.
Somehow, I will get all the things I want to do to work out together. Someday! With time for it all. Someday!
Cheers!
