Family

I spent the day with my family. We rode for almost 15 miles, played games, and had dinner together.

No, the picture above want from today, but from a family vacation several years ago. (Grin)

But, having good times together (no just a holidays) is always how I imagined my family being; very close-knit. I never wanted to be one of the parents who wanted their kids to get a job, move out, get married, and let them give me grand-babies. Yes, there’s a time for all of that, but why rush it? I’d been in a rush and that didn’t work out fabulously for me. I want my kids to enjoy their lives and to do better than me. That means that they have always needed my support and encouragement to be themselves. I’m just glad that it kept them close too.

Well, now I have to go write.

Cheers!
