My day started early with me going to help pick up trash along the roadside.

Then, I went shopping and found a dehydrator for a reasonable price. I’ve been wanting to make bison jerky for some time — I used to make jerky frequently, but then my dehydrator broke and I never replaced it. So, with the new dehydrator, I had to go get some ground bison.

Once I was home, I set to making the jerky. It had been a really long time and I couldn’t remember how I did it, but I think I figured it out. I’ve had my first piece a little while ago and it’s as good as I remember. Having a hard time not munching down on more now. (grin)

I did take a nap and got a few words done in the late afternoon as the jerky was drying, but I’m just having a bit of a lazy evening. That’s okay. The day started out busy and I did a lot. I just need a moment to recharge. I’ll be ready to go again by tomorrow.
